♥ Rinoa Heartilly/Squall Leonhart: Squall/Rinoa is my OTP for this fandom, and I will be happy with whatever you do with them. Perhaps something with how they adjust to life after defeating Ultimecia, he as commander of Balamb Garden and Rinoa learning more about her sorceress abilities?
♥ Rinoa Heartilly/Seifer Almasy: I love the fact that these two have history but the game never explores exactly what that relationship was. Maybe exploring what their summer romance was like, or what their relationship might be post game? We never find out exactly where Seifer ended up, only that he was safe, so what happens when you put those two in the same room again?
♥ Laguna Loire & Kiros Seagill & Ward Zabac: I just want some shenanigans. There's a huge chunk of time when Laguna is president and Kiros and Ward somehow have to help him figure out how to run a government, while also grieving for his wife. I'd prefer something that doesn't linger too much on Raine's death (though it can certainly be mentioned), but humor would be great!
♥ Laguna Loire/Raine Loire: Some fluff set prior to Raine's death would be adorable. Maybe some scenes of how their relationship came together, more than we got to see in game. Or an AU where Raine doesn't die? I'm down with whatever, but I would prefer not to linger on her dying if possible.
♥ Rinoa Heartilly: Do you have a badass story about Rinoa that you'd like to write? Because I would love to read it, please and thank you. Pre-canon, post-canon, I'm not picky, she's my favorite character and I'd love to see her be the star of the show.
Final Fantasy X:
♥ Auron/Lulu: *slams fist on the table* This is my OTP for this game and no one can convince me otherwise. Grumpy guardian who was sick of this shit ten years ago with an ice queen who isn't about to take anyone's shit? Sign me the fuck up. I will read anything you write for this pairing, legit, because there's not enough of it out there. An AU where Auron isn't sent at the end of the game, or returns to Spira in some other way? I'm down. Lulu goes to the Farplane, or to Zanarkand? I'm also down. Hit me with your best ideas!
♥ Auron & Braska & Jecht: I have always loved the way these three interact with each other in the brief glimpses we get into Braska's pilgrimage. Another "missing scene" from this point in canon would be lovely!
♥ Auron: My homeboy. I am game for whatever you wish to write for him, pre or post-canon. Especially if you go into backstory territory, because we know almost nothing about Auron prior to him leaving the warrior monks and joining Braska.
♥ Braska: There's so much we don't know about Yuna's father, other than what the temples preach about him, and the few memories Yuna mentions. How did the death of his wife affect him, other than being the reason for his pilgrimage? How did he meet her, how did he end up marrying an Al Bhed? So many story possibilities and I'd love to read them all.
Kingdom Hearts:
Fandom note: Yes, I've played through Kingdom Hearts III. No, this doesn't make any fucking sense to me either, so you are welcome to disregard the ending and play with this world as you wish. Also, where are my Final Fantasy characters???!?? So yeah, that's mostly what I'm asking for here, lol.
♥ Leon: Leon needs his Rinoa in Kingdom Hearts, however you wish to add her to this world. Maybe she was lost and randomly shows up in Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden. Maybe she's gone through hell and back trying to get to him. Leon has those wings on his jacket for a reason, and they deserve a proper reunion, damn it.
♥ Leon & Yuffie & Aerith & Cid: What did the Hollow Bastion Restoration Committee do in Kingdom Hearts III??? Since they're not in the game, let's write it out and see what happens! Maybe they offer help to Riku and the King? I don't know, but I'd be interested to see these characters again and I adore the way they all interact together.
♥ Setzer: Let's be honest: the Kingdom Hearts version of Setzer is absolute fucking garbage. I'm not asking for this Setzer. I'm asking for an accurate representation of Setzer Gabbiani in Kingdom Hearts. Maybe he's still in Twilight Town, frequenting an opera house there (there can be an opera house in Twilight Town, right?) Maybe he's gambling in the Caribbean and Captain Jack Sparrow owes him money. Maybe Sora and Co. need Setzer's help with an airship somewhere. Please do this character some justice. I beg you.
♥ Riku/Kairi: I'm not a huge fan of the Sora/Kairi ship (or how Kairi was handled in KHIII in general - complete waste of her character imho) but I would love to see her and Riku together, post KHIII. A bit of fluff and adjusting to the world not ending all the time would be lovely.
Shadow Hearts:
Do you know how excited I was to see someone else nominate this game too? And then to see there's almost no fic for it?? Damn right I'm going to request it!!
♥ Anastasia Romanoff/Kurando Inugami:
Fandom DNW: Unless you are aging both of these characters up, please, no sex between these two, because Anastasia is literally a child and that's not okay, okay? Thank you!
That being said, I adore how twitterpatted Anastasia is with Kurando, and that her alternate outfit is a kimono to match his. I would love to explore how that relationship would work, especially with Anastasia's role as a Russian princess. You know, because we've changed history to make it so she lives and all, lololol.
♥ Karin Koenig:
Fandom DNW: Not a fan of Karin/Nicolai, or Nicolai in general. Guy's a creep.
My girl Karin. Ending up in the past and leaving her life behind to marry her crush's father and end up being her crush's mother. I adore her character development and would love a story set at any point in her history. Legit, go crazy. She deserves some love.
♥ Kurando Inugami: Kurando joins your party so late in the game and it feels like you hardly get to know him. So let's fix that! Some more backstory/slice of life story would be amazing!
Final Fantasy VI:
Fandom DNW: Please, no Locke. Thank you!
♥ Edgar Roni Figaro & Setzer Gabbiani: There is so much potential for this to be the bestest of friendships to ever friendship. For real. These are two men who would love to spend their nights drinking and talking and tinkering and inventing stuff and trying to one up each other. I just want to read all the fic where they're best bros, that's all. Especially post-canon, Edgar trying to be king while his bestie shows up in his airship asking him if he wants to screw off for a while. So much potential.
♥ Setzer Gabbiani/Darill: Yeah, they were lovers, they had to be in order for Setzer to give her the sendoff he did. What was their relationship like? We only see Darill in just a few of Setzer's memories, so let's fill in the blanks.
♥ Celes Chere/Setzer Gabbiani: My OTP for this fandom. I love how straight-laced and by the book Celes is in contrast to Setzer's "live in the moment, fuck the consequences" mentality. I am game for whatever with these two! They're star crossed in the best of ways, and I love when they find those moments to still make it work.
♥ Edgar Roni Figaro/Terra Branford: My secret ship. I love the idea of Edgar pining for Terra and Terra being oblivious, to Edgar realizing that, "Oh shit, I actually do have feelings for her that aren't flirting for flirting's sake." Does Terra feel the same? How does she feel about the fact that Edgar is a king with the responsibilities that go with it, even when he doesn't act like it? I'm just interested to see where this goes.
