I ordered the cover for How Wild Are We.
I might throw up, but it's real. I have to put this out into the world now.

So, as some of you are aware, I have decided to self-publish How Wild Are We this year, which is... terrifying, to say the least. I suppose once I've done it once, it'll be easier to do it again, but you know, there's the anxiety to get over first.
I'm pretty sure I know where I'm going to get the cover from; that and the ISBN numbers are the biggest expenses. I am confident that the draft is where I want it to be, and it's gone through several edits and readers who are both familiar and unfamiliar with my work. This is going to work out, I think.
And if not, well, I learn. And I am never reading the reviews unless Jon or Bailey or someone vets it first, lol.

Kay Richards can’t worry about falling in love.
She'd always loved sci-fi adventures, but since she was turned into a werewolf in a horrific attack – and lost her parents alongside her humanity – she doesn't know what to make of her life. As she sees it, she's a monster, not the independent girl she used to be. Kay will do everything in her power to get who she was back.
Rhys Maddox should have his whole life planned out for him. The new alpha of his family's pack, he is determined to fix his father's mistakes and outshine him in every way. Just because his family believes he needs to take a mate doesn't mean he’ll marry the first wolf who catches his eye. He'll do things his way – whether the pack likes it or not.
And that includes folding Kay and her brother Corwin into the Maddox pack. Rhys and Kay have always been drawn to each other, ever since they met in high school. Now, as adults, both share the same supernatural secret. But meddling friends, a bratty little sister, and the threat of an arranged marriage could keep Rhys and Kay from crossing the line from friends to mates.
Before I forget, because I will and I don't have story bibles set up for books three and four of the Haven's Point series yet...

The first draft of How Wild Are We, my NaNoWriMo 2021 project, is finished at 88,450 words.
I can't remember the last time I started and finished a novel in one month before, much less one with a word count that large.
I have to crash now, but holy fuck, I am proud.
