I should be working on editing Angel of Mine; I literally have two pages to edit of Chapter 17 to finish, but I haven't been able to find the inspiration to sit down and do it.
I slotted July to crank out the first draft of the sequel to With These Hungry Eyes. It has a full outline, which I hoped would make it easier to write. And it still might, if I could convince myself to sit down and work on it. It's on a deadline, so I can't drag my feet forever. But since it has an outline, it feels like it's already "written," even though I know it isn't.
And then this song reminds me of So Boycott Love and fuck me, I know how to fix it now. What does suck is that I don't have any of my original notes for the unfinished draft because I, uh, never wrote any. I was pantsing the whole thing. I know how it ends, but the middle?

But since I read Save the Cat Writes a Novel! I am contemplating plotting it out, because I can tell what the A story and B story are now and I did not have that knowledge when I started this in 2011. And in rereading it, there are some gems in here, dialogue that can be saved, scenes that were flashes of brilliance that I need to fine tune.
Honestly I just need my vacation to get here so I can have the time to get some fucking work done. Instead I blow my energy at work and spend my afternoons asleep on the couch because I can't do anything else. ._.
(Also specifically, "Black Balloon" heartbreakingly refers to Jadyn/Kevin, and Kevin is one of my favorite characters who gets to come back as a ghost just to fucking shatter everyone.)
