Challenge #11

In your own space, create a fanwork.

You know, I was going to skip Day 11, because I have been working on some longer pieces and one for chocolateboxcomm that, since it's a fic exchange, will not go live until February. But then I was talking with my friend Matt, and I sent him all of the lyrics I chose for my Andrew McMahon Lyric Challenge and he gave me a few ideas.

Last night I cranked out a one-shot in one night (this never happens!) and may I present to you: House in the Trees, a Steve Rogers gen fic in which he remembers the Howling Commandos. ♥


Challenge #12

In your own space, resurrect an old meme.

Back in the day I was a slut for lyric memes. Okay, I'm still a slut for them. It's a pity that Spotify doesn't have a way for you to shuffle through all the songs of all the artists you have favorited, because otherwise I would have done that.

Instead, I'm going to give you twenty lyrics from songs that appeared in my top 2020 songs. It's also worth noting that one of my most played playlists is the one I made for car rides with my kids, so not all songs were of just my choosing, lol. Guess what song is what! ;) I'll cross them off as they're guessed!
