Won NaNoWriMo last night, and with five days to spare! It's nice to not be sitting here swearing my ass off and trying to make the last few words on Nov. 30th. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep up the 1667 words per day goal this week, with Thanksgiving travel and all, but any words I write this week will be a bonus to my final November count.

How I did on goals!

1. Hit 50k words count.

Nailed it.

2. Finish a draft of my Highlander assignment.

I... restarted my assignment, and round 2 isn't finished either. I feel like if I make it a priority this week, I'll finish the draft and have it to beta on or about Dec. 1. We'll see how the week goes, but I'm not panicked about it.

3. Work on Seven Seas of Rhye.

I wanted to finish it. Instead I didn't get as far as I wanted (fuck me, right?) but I do enjoy what I've been able to get down. I'm in the thick of the Island of Illusion scenes and it's been a lot of fun to write. This novel will not be finished before the new year starts. ._.

4. Start Yuletide assignment.

It is started! I also have a good idea of where it will end up. Just need to light the fire under my ass and get it done. I'm also looking at one treat I want to write - I've had the prompt open on my desktop all month - but that has to wait until my other two assignments are finished first.

I also got to attend four write ins with my writing group, who are awesome and I'm very grateful for them. I would not have finished my word count goal already if I hadn't attended.

Now to finish my shit, and to keep on keeping on.
