In Her Eyes by Tilltheendwilliwrite (MCU, Bucky/OC)

Summary: Lana Perez is almost painfully shy. So shy, it’s earned her the name Mouse from Tony Stark. But she loves her job, serving the children who come to Avengers Tower gift shop - and their parents - looking for official Avengers merchandise and hoping for an Avenger sighting. But life has its ups and downs, and though the roller coaster that was her life has mellowed in the last few years, she makes sure to take every day that comes as the gift it’s meant to be.

But, when she catches the eye of James Buchanan Barnes, it won't be easy to overcome her nature. Can she find the courage to step out of the shadows and into the limelight on the arm of the Winter Soldier, or is theirs a relationship doomed to fizzle before it begins?

Why I'm reccing it: This is the fluffiest shit I've read in a long time. T started posting this a few months ago and it's still a work in progress, but every time it updates, it's the best part of my day. I'm also a sucker for Bucky fic, so perhaps I'm biased.


cat whisperer by joshriku (Final Fantasy VII Remake, gen)

Why I'm reccing it: Cloud tries to make friends with cats. It doesn't go well. Maybe it also explains why you can't pet the cats in FFVIIR (though you totally should. They need to fix that for volume two).


Always Be A Room For You by runicmagitek (Final Fantasy VIII, gen)

Why I'm reccing it: I AM GOING TO REC THIS UNTIL ALL OF YOU READ IT. IT'S THAT GOOD. It's pre-canon Rinoa learning (and earning) her place with the Timber Resistance. It's got found family. It's got lesbian bakers helping Rinoa make treats. It's the holiday fic you didn't know you wanted, and. you should all go read it. Okay? Okay.

And I don't know why it only has 67 hits. It should have way more than that, but we all know that gen fics rarely get the love they deserve.


Two Cups and Counting by danger_floof (MCU, Bucky/Darcy)

Why I'm reccing it: A fun soulmate fic in which the words your soulmate speaks are written on you. Bucky's just says "bang." And he keeps missing his soulmate because she's a morning person and he can't form two sentences without copious amounts of caffeine. I rather enjoyed this one!
