tiny_ninjaWIP Wednesday time~
Camp NaNoWriMo's July session ends today and somehow my overachieving ass wrote an overall 50k for the month. O_o 45k of which was on the PR/MCU crossover in progress. I'm now working on basically whatever I want while I think on how exactly I want to restructure Ninjetti. Some of what I've worked on has been great -some smut, some cute dialogue bits with the twins - and I know I'm only delaying the inevitable. I'll have to go back and work on the rest at some point, but my brain needs a break.
I even made an AU to fix one of the awful bits of the twins' backstory. It's adorable and fluffy and I'm having fun with it, even though it's a major plot spoiler for things that happen later on.
Of course, we got to watch Endgame last night, and that's the last part of the series, and I really want to work on the more MCU-focused bits now. My current goal is to get the drafting of Ninjetti in line enough so I can work on Infinity War as my November NaNo project. I have three months to figure that shit out, so I'm not worried. I'm also trying not to get too far ahead of myself, and I don't want to be disappointed if I'm not ready for that by the time November rolls around.
...Let's be real. I'll be pissed as hell at myself if I can't write that come November. But I have time.

press_start_comm and maybe something for the Successor Challenge over on Tumblr. I haven't decided what I'm going to do with that and I'm starting to run out of time. Oops. It'll be okay if I don't get there - I'd rather work on a solid idea and not post it as part of the challenge than rush it and look like an asshole.

“Tommy?” Jason slid his arm out from underneath his sleeping girlfriend, rubbing his eyes. “Dude. Are you in my bedroom window?!”
Grinning like an idiot, Tommy pushed his hair out of his eyes. “AJ wasn’t at the house, so I knew she’d be here with you. Nudge her awake, will you? I don’t want to keep throwing things at her.” He paused, “Also, Kim was right. You definitely need to lock your windows.”
Jason sighed. At some point, it had to be a Ranger tradition now to bypass his front door and get into his house through his bedroom. “What are you doing here? Couldn’t you have just called her?”
“Tried that. She didn’t answer.” Tommy looked him over. “Not surprised, you two were probably busy.”
Neither one of them had bothered to put clothes back on before bed, so Jason silently thanked his blankets for helping maintain his modesty. “Which is why I would have appreciated the phone call.”
Beside him, AJ groaned, flopping onto her side. “Come back, Jase,” she mumbled, flailing a hand to the side and reaching out for him.
“Baby,” Jason said, leaning over to kiss her cheek. “Tommy is here.”
“Why is that?” She opened her eyes, blinking at him, then looking over to see Tommy in the window, leaning in the window frame, still with that ridiculous grin on his face. “Oh. Hi, Tommy. What are you doing here?”
Tommy looked like he was vibrating, and Jason had never seen him this happy before. The grin on his face was lopsided to the point of looking goofy, and though it was dark, his eyes were shining. “I had to come tell you. I did the thing.”
“The thing?”
“You know. The one we talked about the other day.”
“Oh. That thing.” AJ grinned back at him, their expressions two mirrors of each other. “Why are you here and not still doing the thing then?”
