The nerd girl is turned into a werewolf after a horrific attack, and that's when she learns that her high school crush is the alpha of his high-class pack. I wanted to play with the "alpha male" trope and show an alpha who, while he has his moments of being a jerk, is really dedicated to doing what's right for his pack, even when they'd rather he stick to the status quo and not change anything.
